Joland Remarkable Bay Markie is basically retired from showing and enjoying life living at "Wicklow Way", Lisa's home in Ailsa Craig. She delivered a beautiful filly Wicklow Way Brittas Bay sired by Whistler's Royal Vintage in 2016 and presented us with a colt spring of 2019 sired by Royal. We did bring her out in 2022 to show at The ON Show Horse Classic just for fun because Markie is still all SHOW!

Wicklow Way Kiltegan Deceased 2021. He has incredible potential and we expect he will reach a good size with a long neck and terrific stride. Futurity Nominated in the OMHC. Was sold as a yearling to Mike Lilycrop and sadly died at the age of 2. |

CBMF Undeniable 1999 - 2019 Sparky was an absolute gift to us when Kathy Gutting leased him to us. We were his proud caretakers for 4 years. He returned to his homeland in Vermont in 2018. A year later he gone, his suffering was over from a degenerative bone disease. We can't thank Kathy enough for letting us have him in our lives for a brief period, he brough great joy to many. Saralin's Markessa March 27, 1987 - April 4, 2013 "Kasey" is a treasure. She has been an extraordinary show horse for the family since her purchase in 1988 and has matured into the role of broodmare, teacher and a fabulous equitation mount for her young riders. Taking the In Hand world by storm as a young horse, then becoming the ultimate english pleasure horse particularly for a lady and a junior exhibitor, this mare has been invaluable to us. She then turned her attention to equitation and could lay down a perfect pattern anywhere, anytime. She has given us four wonderful gifts, her daughter "Markie" in 2001, son "Rex" in 2002 and in 2007 she delivered another stunning bay colt "Jordan." Her final foal, a filly came spring 2010 "Joelle." She is the last of the Kasey babies and we couldn't be more pleased. Kasey was laid to rest on April 4, 2013, she had just celebrated her 26th birthday and 25th anniversary with us. It was heartbreaking to let her go. Justin Morgan High Point Awards: |

Hip Heath Avalon May 20, 1984 - May 2, 2012 "Frankie" once a powerful pleasure driving and english pleasure horse gracefully slowed down over the years. He became an envied equitation mount rivaling and beating his saddlebred competitors. He then moved into the Classic ranks, where he once again dominated in the harness division as well as the junior exhibitor driving classes. OFFICIALLY retired from sanctioned shows at the age of 23 on August 25th, 2007 at the OMHC fun day. He deserved to be treated like royalty and enjoyed his retirement. Frankie was laid to rest on May 2nd, 2012 and we will miss him always, there will never be another one like him.

Joland Ovation May 8th, 1984 - Jan. 22, 2015 "OV" is the sentimental favorite in the barn. He was the first horse bred by our family. This horse has seen and done it all. OV enjoyed a sensational In Hand career as a young stallion and also did well as a young park saddle horse. His career shifted into the hunter/jumper ranks where his style over fences was impeccable. He eventually became the ideal western horse as he aged as his jog was effortless and smooth, his head carriage was natural and he remained light in the mouth. He was my beginner starter horse for lessons and is loved by quite a few ten year olds! He tolerates all the excessive attention during grooming and has the patience to walk around the ring all day carrying his students. He is priceless. OV was also officially retired from the show ring on August 25th, 2007 with his buddy Frankie. He was laid to rest on Jan. 22, 2015, loved by all and now at peace. Acoma Morningstar March 14, 1977 - May 9th, 2006 "Star" holds a special place in the hearts of all who meet her, but none more then mine. This beautiful mare has been part of the family since 1980 and helped shape the future of our farm. She has been our foundation. She succumbed to colic at the age of 29. We miss her terribly. She was a competitive show horse with an amazing trot and vivacious canter while not being particularly fond of walking. She wasn't a big mare, but you would never know it while you were riding her! And she had a heart to match all that zest for life. She was not a quitter even surviving colic surgery at the age 22. Star gave us four foals who have all enjoyed wonderful careers for their owners. Chestnut Hill Specialty June 16, 1993 - October 13, 2017 "Susie" was bred and owned by Jack Reeves and when he was ready to retire, he graciously offered Susie to us. We gladly accepted and became one of our nicest lesson horses. We were pleased to have her live out her life at Cyan Star Morgans in peace and love. Justin Morgan High Point Awards: |
